The 2nd Regional Sales Manager for the Texas Region will be responsible for identifying and maintaining strategic relationships with General Contractors and Developers throughout the Texas Region. Through both established and newly forged relationships you will have the responsibility of identifying a variety of projects in various stages of development throughout this marketplace. The right individual will work with our current Distech Control's System Integrator base and Acuity Brands Lighting Agency to cultivate existing relationships, while also possessing the ability to develop leads through lunch and learns, cold calls and networking events. The ideal candidate should have the ability to assist with estimating controls projects and have the technical aptitude to discuss a broad range of topics such as HVAC, BAS, IT, Fiber Networks and Lighting Controls. This individual's main-focus will be on projects that are in the Texas metro areas in addition to Oklahoma, Arkansas & Louisiana. Your mission is to sell the bigger picture and leverage Distech Controls as the enabling technology that leaves a building future ready for Acuity's tier 3 & 4 solutions.
