Remote- New York/ New Jersey Thales is hiring an experience Regional Sales Director who'll be accountable for delivering revenue results by building & leading a high-performing sales team, driving pipeline creation, ensuring forecast accuracy, and enforcing disciplined execution. This role owns the number, develops talent, and creates a culture of accountability, urgency, and customer ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or another related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience leading and scaling sales teams in a quota-carrying environment in the NY Metro Area
  • Track record of consistent revenue achievement and forecast accuracy
  • Strong coaching, verbal, written, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and strategic accounts selling AI, data networking and / or security platforms
  • Ability to operate with urgency, structure, and accountability
  • Proficiency in SFDC, MEDDPIIC & working knowledge of Command of the Message, or equivalent methodology
  • Previous experience leading teams selling cloud-based security products

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Region’s Revenue Ownership & Forecast Accuracy
  • Weekly Pipeline & Opportunity Inspections
  • Talent Development & Performance Management throughout year
  • Deal Strategy & Execution Support including brainstorming complex sales cycles with strategic accounts
  • Customer & Account Leadership focused on driving measurable business outcomes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration across teams
  • Leadership, Social Influence, & Culture
  • Day-to-day management of a variety of Sales Reps (Strategic to New Logo) in order to maximize sales revenue to meet or exceed annual targets
  • Regularly visit existing partners/customers/prospects, actively involved with peer levels in key partners
