About The Position

Food People Restaurant Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales and Marketing Representative to join their team. This position will represent the Carolina Ale House and TakoSushi brands. The role is responsible for community engagement, content creation, and catering/party sales for their respective market. This individual will work closely with the marketing team, restaurant managers, and vendors to ensure successful implementation of marketing initiatives. Additionally, this person will manage the Regional Sales and Marketing Representative in other markets. The main goal is to attract customers to the restaurants, where the teams will provide a positive experience. The representative is expected to engage with the community, build relationships, encourage visits, and create engaging content for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and marketing software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between restaurant locations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and promotions.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Carolina Ale House and TakoSushi brands.
  • Engage with the community.
  • Create content for Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok.
  • Drive catering and party sales.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, restaurant managers, and vendors to implement marketing initiatives.
  • Supervise and support the Regional Sales and Marketing Representatives in their daily activities, including setting sales targets, providing training and guidance, and monitoring performance (in collaboration with Leadership).
  • Monitor sales performance and financial targets, and provide regular reports to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate on and manage social media.
  • Maintain brand standards.
  • Create and maintain sponsorships.
  • Work with the Marketing team to create and distribute marketing materials, including social media content, email campaigns, printed materials, and online advertisements.
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers to coordinate promotional events and special promotions.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop action plans to capitalize on those opportunities.
  • Work closely with vendors to secure promotional partnerships and sponsorships that align with the company's brand and values.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events and community gatherings to promote the brand and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Travel regularly to restaurant locations within the market as well as offsite events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
