About The Position

Food People Restaurant Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales and Marketing Representative to join their team, representing Carolina Ale House and TakoSushi brands. This position will be responsible for community engagement, content creation, and catering/party sales for their respective market. The individual will work closely with the marketing team, restaurant managers, and vendors to ensure successful implementation of marketing initiatives. Additionally, this person will manage the Regional Sales and Marketing Representatives in other markets. The main objective is to attract customers to the restaurants, represent the company at community events, build relationships, convince people to visit, and create engaging content for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and marketing software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between restaurant locations
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and promotions.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting the Regional Sales and Marketing Representatives in their daily activities, including setting sales targets, providing training and guidance, and monitoring performance (in collaboration with Leadership).
  • Monitoring sales performance and financial targets, and providing regular reports to the leadership team.
  • Social media collaboration and management
  • Maintaining brand standards
  • Creating and maintaining sponsorships
  • Work with the Marketing team to create and distribute marketing materials, including social media content, email campaigns, printed materials, and online advertisements.
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers to coordinate promotional events and special promotions.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop action plans to capitalize on those opportunities.
  • Work closely with vendors to secure promotional partnerships and sponsorships that align with the company's brand and values.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events and community gatherings to promote the brand and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Regular travel to restaurant locations within the market as well as offsite events
