About The Position

AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Safety Manager to oversee our Hunt construction projects in the Central/East Region of the US. This position will be located in Indianapolis, IN and report to the Director of Safety. Assists the ES&H Director in the formulation and administration of the company's environmental safety and health policies and programs for the home office and field operations. Assists in the supervision of all ES&H activities and in the selection of related facilities/project personnel. Assists in the planning and conducting of training for project personnel and is responsible for ES&H in the areas of policy, procedures, inspection, regulatory compliance and incident investigation. May represent the Company on technical and professional committees and assists in local, State, Federal and industrial standards, codes or regulatory formation. Requirements

  • BA/BS Occupational Safety or similar curriculum and 10 years of construction safety management experience or demonstrated equivalency and/ or education, including 2 years of leadership.
  • Commercial Construction Safety Management experience.
  • Valid drivers license.

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate degree Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field such as Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in Regulated Compliance, specifically: OSHA standards Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Department of Transportation (DOT)
  • Recordkeeping proficiency in proper documentation procedures for incidents, audits, and training.
  • Experience in: Risk assessment and mitigation. Safety program development. Continuous improvement. Incident investigation.
  • CSP preferred.
  • Safety team leadership experience.
