About The Position

As the Regional Refrigeration Specialist, you will serve as a technical resource
and support leader for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across Amazon's
expanding North American market. You will support standardization efforts,
contribute to reliability improvements, and provide technical expertise across
multiple facilities while ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food
safety standards. You will play a key role in supporting Amazon RME's journey
towards World Class Maintenance in refrigeration operations.

Requirements

• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Associate's degree in a technical field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
• 3+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
• 3+ years of refrigeration industry experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
• Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Refrigeration Trade School certificate
• 1+ years of commercial CO2 refrigeration applications experience
• Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs for commercial refrigeration systems

Responsibilities

• You will travel domestically up to 80%, providing technical support and expertise for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across assigned geography and ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food safety standards
• You will support refrigeration system audits, maintenance quality assessments, and reliability improvement initiatives across multiple facilities within the region
• You will assist in developing standardized refrigeration maintenance procedures, troubleshooting protocols, and best practices to support consistency and efficiency across assigned sites
• You will collaborate with site leadership, maintenance teams, and central engineering groups to identify opportunities for equipment standardization and performance enhancement
• You will provide technical support and guidance to local maintenance teams on refrigeration system operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance strategies
