The Regional Recruiter manages full-cycle recruiting across an assigned region, primarily hiring drivers, monitors, and location staff. This role partners closely with recruiters, trainers, and field leadership to support high-volume hiring, timely onboarding, and staffing needs tied to school schedules. Limited HR generalist support is included, with a focus on onboarding, engagement, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws related to recruiting and selection
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ATS and onboarding systems

Nice To Haves

  • HR emphasis preferred
  • PHR certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional recruiting efforts for drivers, monitors, and local staff
  • Plan and execute hiring events, job fairs, community outreach, advertising, and referral programs
  • Partner with local recruiters and hiring teams to ensure consistent recruiting processes and best practices
  • Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and ensure timely follow-up
  • Manage pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screens, CDL licensing, endorsements, training timelines)
  • Support seasonal and time-sensitive hiring tied to school calendars and route changes
  • Ensure recruiting activities and materials comply with all federal, state, and company requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in ATS, job boards, and social media platforms
  • Identify new recruiting strategies and process improvements
  • Assist with onboarding and regional driver engagement and retention initiatives
  • Provide recruiting metrics and reports as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
