Regional Project Manager Regular, Full-Time Position Astoria, Queens Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America’s leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and control systems. Role Summary: The Regional Project Manager serves as the primary coordinator for bundled modernization projects, connecting sales, manufacturing, logistics, and support to deliver complete elevator solutions from order release through shipment. This role manages all aspects of project execution: planning schedules, aligning responsibilities, coordinating interdepartmental communication, and ensuring on time, accurate fulfillment. At the core of this position is ownership of the bundled packages, ensuring that multiple Vantage business units operate in sync to provide a seamless, unified customer experience. The Project Manager oversees order flow, receiving, invoicing, and cost reconciliation, maintaining clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the process. Success in this role requires both structure and adaptability: the ability to manage multiple concurrent modernization projects, anticipate challenges before they affect timelines, and uphold Vantage’s standards for precision, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The Regional Project Manager operates in alignment with all commercial needs of the Regional Support Center (RSC).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally within the elevator industry; related experience in manufacturing, construction, or building modernization will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and follow-through skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and drive practical improvements.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.); CPQ and CRM experience a plus.
  • Skilled communicator (verbal, written, and visual reporting) with strong customer service orientation.
  • Advanced organizational ability, with a proactive, solutions focused mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, and project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate project documentation for bundled modernization projects, including schedules, updates, cost summaries, and customer correspondence, from order release through delivery, ensuring that all commitments are met.
  • Coordinate across sales and multiple Vantage business units to align production schedules, shipping logistics, and support teams to ensure project accuracy and timely progress.
  • Monitor and manage receiving, invoicing, and reconciliation processes in partnership with Finance, ensuring invoices reflect correct components, costs, and freight.
  • Collaborate with leadership to track and report performance metrics, identify trends, and suggest process improvements.
  • Track milestones, identify risks early, and take corrective action to maintain predictable delivery performance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring questions, changes, and updates are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries, quote requests, and order status updates.
  • Support customers with part identification, replacement needs, and technical clarifications in coordination with internal experts.
  • Prepare and issue quotations, process customer orders, and confirm receipt and accuracy of all related documentation.
  • Manage order tracking from entry through shipment, providing regular updates to customers and resolving delivery or quality issues as they arise.
  • Assist in the processing of RMAs when required and assist in warranty or billing related resolutions.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers through consistent follow-up, clear communication, and dependable service.
