HealthCorps is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of youth both mentally and physically by addressing health challenges in communities. They achieve this through programming that includes innovative and engaging experiences for teens in education, leadership, and service learning, empowering them to become change agents within their families, schools, and neighborhoods. The organization's program is built on the understanding that limited access to health education can lead to lifelong social, emotional, and physical challenges. HealthCorps values being mission-obsessed, having an entrepreneurial mindset, recognizing that people are their power, believing teamwork makes the dream work, and empowering change. The Regional Program Manager will be a creative, friendly, and self-motivated leader responsible for implementing an innovative community-wide wellness program in Atlantic City. This program aims to empower teens to make healthier choices for themselves and their families, acting as a catalyst for sustainable change by promoting health and wellness in schools and the broader community. Key aspects of the role include training, deploying, and supervising near-peer mentors to deliver HealthCorps’ proven programming, overseeing health-promoting initiatives such as Teens Make Health Happen Clubs, monthly wellness campaigns, community events, and regional and national health fairs, and building and maintaining relationships with school districts, universities, student wellness officers, local alumni, and strategic community partners to foster a strong network.
