About The Position

The Regional Nursing Supervisor is responsible for: Providing ongoing support and oversight of the nursing department along with the Program Directors in the assigned region and the Director of Nursing. Ensuring services are being delivered in accordance with Spectrum’s policies and procedures as well as in compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory bodies. The control, counting and appropriate documentation of onsite medication including medication destruction and maintaining accuracy of dispensing and inventory records in accordance with state and federal regulations. Assisting with policy development, implementation, and upholding adherence to quality improvements within the nursing department and with recruiting, hiring, scheduling, and training of licensed and unlicensed medical staff that meets the staffing needs of the program.

Requirements

LPN or RN Nursing license

Nice To Haves

Experience in Correctional Nursing preferred but not required.
