About The Position

We are looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to join our Agricultural Solutions team supporting our BASF | Nunhems Vegetable Seeds business in Research Triangle Park, NC. Location is preferred in Research Triangle Park, NC (hybrid) but a remote US option could be considered. Come create chemistry with us! We help farmers deliver the best possible outcomes, working to achieve the balance between economic, environmental and social value creation for sustainable and efficient agriculture. This regional role leads the marketing team to translate global strategy into actionable plans and execute crop-specific marketing initiatives that deliver short-term results and support sustained growth. Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, marketing, business, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in marketing and/or sales.
  • Bring at least 6 years leading teams (preferred).
  • Bring experience in vegetable seeds (strongly preferred).
  • Are fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Display versatility in interpersonal style and the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Are a collaborative team player with proven leadership and management competencies.
  • Are able to travel up to 50%, domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Defining, prioritizing, and optimizing the regional crop portfolio—from launch planning through phase-out—to ensure competitiveness and market alignment.
  • Developing and delivering annual and multi-year crop marketing plans, including positioning, pricing guidance, campaigns, and demand-generation priorities.
  • Translating the 3–5 year regional strategy into clear initiatives, milestones, and KPIs, and ensuring disciplined execution across all countries.
  • Partnering closely with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, QA, and Production to align on demand planning, product readiness, quality, and supply reliability.
  • Leveraging market data, customer feedback, and field insights to continuously refine strategies, support sales teams, and identify growth opportunities.
