JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking a dynamic highly skilled Ice Cream Marketing BU Deployment Lead to join our team and drive the digital transformation of our Ice Cream Marketing processes, consistently and reliably delighting our consumers with world class brilliant experiences across channels and consumer service, underpinned by efficient and effective autonomous processes. You will lead the BU engagement and deployment of all Marketing capabilities by working closely with the global lead on design, build and deployment of processes and tools for Consumer Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Content and Asset Management, Product Information Management, Carelines ensuring a seamless transition to a standalone business. You will be responsible for driving local design, UAT, deployment and change in the markets by collaborating with marketing leads across different within the BU. You will act as the key lead for managing BU level deployment for all marketing process and enterprise platforms. The role requires a strategic thinker, who is passionate about marketing and DComm and embraces this unique opportunity to grow and transform the Ice Cream business through digitalization and AI in all aspects of the consumer journey. The successful candidate will be one that has hands-on experience in Marketing and digital transformation and has significant process and change management expertise with a proven record of leading large scale process transformation. This role will exist in its current form for 14 months.

Requirements

  • Proven Expertise: 5-10 years of extensive experience in Marketing process ownership, with a strong understanding of how marketing operations work. Ideally some of your experience has been gained from Ice Cream.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment, delivering results under tight timelines and delivering through external agencies & partners.
  • Change Management: Extensive experience in developing and implementing change management strategies for complex global programs, ensuring stakeholder alignment and user adoption.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership and business units globally. Proven track record of building strong relationships and managing expectations at all levels of the organization.
  • Global Perspective: Experience working in diverse international markets, with a strong understanding of the cultural, regulatory, and operational complexities that impact global ERP deployments.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into process improvements.
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel globally to support market-specific needs during the design, build, and deployment phases.

Responsibilities

  • Reimagine the Marketing and DCom Process: Lead the local design, BU engagement and deployment of standardized global template for Marketing & DCommerce platforms, product data and content management (PIM, DAM, Content Syndication, Web Ecosystem, Media, Carelines and Consumer data management) processes aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with representatives from markets across the BU to ensure that relevant business requirements are fully considered when designing the new processes and systems.
  • Understand the drivers of market nuances and feed that to the global team and work with them to find simple and standardised solutions to meet local needs within a global framework.
  • Drive Implementation: Lead implementation of new Marketing processes for Product information management, Digital Asset Management, Carelines/CEC, Consumer Data and Marketing Activation processes and Consumer Channels (Web, Email, Social activations) in the BU.
  • Seize the opportunity of new technological capabilities within the Icecream Marketing Ecosystem, and integrations and operations with external agency ecosystem to maximise the efficiency of the Marketing processes
  • Collaborate with other workstreams (R&D, Master Data, Tech) to deliver E2E processes for Marketing function and drive E2E optimisation across all business processes.
  • Lead the deployment and rollout of key Marketing Applications by working with global Opus teams.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and in full, whilst maintaining business continuity.
  • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure successful deployment of Global Platforms and processes for Marketing function, ensuring on time TSA exist.
  • Lead Market Engagement and UAT for all marketing processes and be the key point of contact for key stakeholders across markets.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Listen and communicate with business leaders and users to ensure their inclusion and engagement, gathering and incorporating their ideas and inputs, addressing concerns and ultimately securing adoption and advocacy of Marketing systems.
  • Be the Change lead across the BUs, to lead change, deployment and adoption of new Marketing capabilities across markets.
  • Work in partnership with global stakeholders, external consultants and the wider programme teams.
  • Manage the Workstream Deliverables: Ensure milestones for design, testing, and deployment are met.
  • Work in an agile way, prioritising activities and adapting plans to accommodate interdependencies.
  • Bring rigour to ensure high-quality outputs at every stage of the project, proactively managing phases such as User Acceptance Testing, Data Validation and Readiness to uncover and resolve issues before go-live.
  • Highlight risks and issues and develop and propose mitigation options.
  • Change Management Drive change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools, including training and communication strategies.
  • Data Management Oversee data readiness for the Marketing processes, ensuring accurate and consistent data migration and validation
  • Transition to BAU: Establish performance metrics and governance frameworks for Marketing processes, ensuring compliance and effective control measures globally.
  • Drive change initiatives, ensuring that employees have the skills and knowledge required to operate within the new system.
  • Monitor process performance post-implementation, identify opportunities for improvement including AI/advanced analytics, and define roadmap to adapt processes to evolving business needs.
