About The Position

Loenbro is seeking an experienced Regional Manager of Quality to support our Industrial Services (West) business unit, specializing in fabrication, mechanical, structural, civil, scaffolding, coating, and electrical services for industrial facilities. This role is responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) within an assigned region. This role ensures that regional operations consistently meet established quality standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Director of Quality, this position provides hands on leadership to regional Quality Control teams, supports certification compliance efforts, and drives continuous improvement across multiple job sites.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Field Operations, or related construction/industrial environments.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience, ideally in a regional or multi site capacity.
  • Solid understanding of quality standards, inspection practices, and auditing procedures within construction, steel fabrication/erection, or similar industries.
  • Experience implementing or maintaining components of a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, codes, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate quality data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Proficiency in standard software used in quality reporting and documentation (Excel, QMS software, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across operations, field teams, and leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple job sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or maintaining AISC certifications (Certified Fabricator and/or Certified Erector).
  • Industry recognized certifications such as:
  • CWI, CWE, or SCWI (Certified Welding Inspector/Educator/Senior Welding Inspector)
  • ASQ certifications (CQI, CQA, CQE)
  • NACE/AMPP coating inspection certifications
  • Prior experience in multi-regional quality oversight or working in a matrixed organization.
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) depending on workforce needs.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Management System (QMS) Execution
  • Implement the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with established standards and customer requirements.
  • Ensure regional field installation procedures, inspections, and testing activities follow company-defined standards.
  • Conduct routine audits using company-established procedures to ensure consistent quality performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying regional issues and contributing to corrective action recommendations.
  • Regional Team Leadership & Development
  • Manage and develop regional Quality Control personnel across relevant service lines.
  • Coordinate and oversee regional audits, inspections, and field quality activities to ensure compliance with quality expectations.
  • Provide hands-on training, coaching, and support to ensure consistent application of established quality processes.
  • Promote a strong culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence across regional teams.
  • Compliance & Certification Support
  • Ensure regional operations adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
  • Support the Director in maintaining company certifications, including AISC Certified Fabricator and AISC Certified Erector, by ensuring regional compliance.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and evidence needed for certification audits within the region.
  • Implement regional corrective actions to address non‑conformance issues and track progress.
  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring
  • Maintain accurate regional quality records and reporting in alignment with company standards.
  • Provide timely updates to the Director on regional quality performance, risks, and improvement needs.
  • Analyze regional quality data to identify trends and recommend targeted improvements.
  • Track and report on regional KPIs established by senior leadership to drive continuous quality enhancement.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
