The Regional Manager Food for Health – West contributes to AHF by serving as the senior operational leader for all Food for Health programs within the Western region. This role is responsible for sustaining excellence across established high-volume sites—such as Los Angeles (multiple locations and special events), San Diego, and the VA in West LA—while building the operational capacity required to support new and emerging markets including Las Vegas, Tucson, and the Pacific Northwest.The Regional Manager ensures that all Food for Health operations in the West are standardized, high-quality, compliant, and fiscally responsible through the consistent implementation of policies, KPIs, and operational frameworks. By owning regional execution, this role ensures that national strategy is translated into effective, on-the-ground impact at every site.This position directly manages site leaders and serves as the critical bridge between national leadership and local operations. The Western Bureau Regional Manager works in close partnership with the Associate Director and Director of Food for Health to align daily execution with strategic priorities, while empowering site teams to respond to the unique needs of their communities. The Regional Manager Food for Health – West enhances the reputation of AHF by ensuring that every Food for Health site in the region operates with excellence, professionalism, and consistency. Through performance oversight, quality assurance, staff development, and cross-functional coordination, this role guarantees that clients experience the same high standard of service regardless of location. This role formally incorporates Food for Health into AHF’s regional management structure and serves as the connective tissue between strategy and execution—aligning people, systems, and standards to ensure that Food for Health in the West operates efficiently, sustainably, and in full alignment with AHF’s mission.
