About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager, Foodservice is responsible for driving demand creation, sales execution, and customer growth across region. This role focuses on growing food service sales through DSD of our fresh product portfolio, while delivering against volume, revenue, and profitability targets. The Regional Sales Manager plays a critical role in expanding Bimbo’s presence in Away from Home channels by developing strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, executing account plans, and ensuring effective in-market activation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field)
  • 5–7 years of experience in foodservice sales, preferably within the region
  • Strong understanding of foodservice channels, customers, and DSD distribution
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities and achieving sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Results oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-moving organization
  • Strong ability to lead with and without direct authority; collaboration with cross-functional business partners is critical

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region

Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution and Demand Creation: Drive sales by executing account plans, finding opportunities to expand distribution volume and identifying new account opportunities
  • Account Management and Customer Development: Manage and grow relationships with regional chains and large independent operator accounts, ensuring strong engagement, consistent execution, and delivery against targets
  • Sell-In and In-Market Activation: Develop and manage customer plans and conduct joint business planning, i.e. define volume, price and promotions in line with set targets
  • Opportunity Identification and Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities within the region, building and managing a robust pipeline to support sustained growth in Away from Home channels
  • Forecasting and Performance Management: Support regional forecasting, track performance versus targets, and maintain accurate reporting across key KPIs
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with RGM, Marketing, Innovation, Supply Chain, and Finance to support customer needs, resolve issues, and ensure effective execution
