JOB SUMMARY: Oversees the daily work of the Regional Maintenance Trainers (RMT’s) and IHM Training Program, which includes budget and personnel management; works with internal and external partners to ensure that maintenance training needs are met; evaluates current equipment in order to recommend modifications, purchase and/or maintenance.

Requirements

  • Associates/2 Yr Degree
  • 5+ years YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
  • Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations
  • Strong basic and technical knowledge of related areas
  • Knowledge of various types of maintenance equipment and ways to perform necessary repairs

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, hires, trains, evaluates, develops, and motivates team of RMT’s
  • Develops training programs for technicians to be performed by RMT’s
  • Helps ensure that goals are met; Ensures proper completion and documentation of training requirements
  • Evaluates success of programs by analysis of Daily Training Support Notes, Technician Satisfaction Surveys, RMT Feedback Survey, and AFM Weekly Safety Meeting surveys. Researches and identifies program changes. Makes appropriate recommendations to management
  • Serves as a Technical Advisor and/or liaison to partnering departments. Resolves escalated issues and implements procedures for repair
  • Develops, reviews and recommends policies, practices and procedures, in conjunction with Management. Communicates changes with employees as applicable
