About The Position

Description Impact Regional Training Manager GENERAL SUMMARY : Position is responsible for managing and supporting the maintenance training program and all pillar and guidelines associated with the program. Manager will assistance and support for maintenance trainers in the DuPont/Pilgrims maintenance training program. The role will manage the key deliverables within the program to drive fleet initiatives and goals in and around the training space. Position will also act as a liaison for trainers with maintenance managers and maintenance directors across all BU’s to help identify and eliminate potential issues and to drive continuous improvement across all activities. The Impact Training Manager must have a broad experience base in Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electrical Power applications. The selected candidate will be located at or within 1 hour of one of Pilgrim's South/Southeast facilities or be able to relocate to one. This is NOT a remote position! KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:  Facilitate and support of Training Program through the site trainers and maintenance managers.  Track and document progress in the program through training pillar audits, data evaluation and management, on site visits, and relationship building.  Develop, Implement, and manage Impact training program at 10+ locations.  Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders at each location.  Deliver on time and accurate reporting to the Head of Maintenance about progress, gaps, and actions across the fleet.  Multiple years’ experience in maintenance and/or management. KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Multiple years’ experience in maintenance and/or management. Experience in: Training Development Training/teaching Software systems General maintenance and applications Collaborative team events/projects Able to read, write and comprehend a strong vocabulary. Must be computer literate. Must be proficient in: “Word”. “Excel” Spreadsheets. “SAP” procedures. Must be able to comprehend and operate the Maintenance e-Learning (DuPont/Coastal) Program. Requirements: Experience in: Training Development Training/teaching Software systems General maintenance and applications Collaborative team events/projects Maintenance Training Supervisor Administrative Duties: Willing to travel 75 % of the time. Willing to travel for multiple nights. Willing to live near (within 1hr drive ) one of the locations that they are managing. Must be able to manage multiple training superintendents across multiple locations. Assist in development of new training materials and techniques to teach to locations. Fill in for training superintendents if need arises. Spend time on-site with new trainers to ensure they are well prepared when taking over a location. Manage DSS data entry thru internal reports and Qlik applications. Work hands-on with locations as needed to facilitate success.

Requirements

  • Multiple years’ experience in maintenance and/or management.
  • Experience in: Training Development Training/teaching Software systems General maintenance and applications Collaborative team events/projects
  • Able to read, write and comprehend a strong vocabulary.
