About The Position

We are looking for a Regional Key Account Manager to join our Performance Chemicals team remotely. Come create chemistry with us! In this role, you will manage key accounts within the Resin Producers sales team, driving commercial execution and business development while collaborating closely with Product Management, Supply Chain, Business Development, Customer Care, Quality, Controlling, and Technical Support to enhance the overall customer experience. You will also be accountable for delivering volume, revenue, and margin growth, reporting directly to the Head of Sales, Resin Producers, Plastic Additives, USCA. Executing regional and global customer strategies and implementing plans to facilitate sustainable growth in the Resin Producers customer base which consists primarily of polyolefin producers. Managing customer interfaces and cultivating strategic level relationships for regional and global Resin Producers customer accounts in addition to sales and profitability development and customer relationships. Utilizing key tools including but not limited to Salesforce, SAP, APO forecasting, and CPQ to assist with internal and external decision making. Leveraging your strong internal and external relationships across other regions (including AP, EMEA) ensuring a cohesive strategy for communicating amongst global key accounts in a matrixed organization. Coordinated monthly contributions based on customer input and market knowledge to curate operational and financial forecasts. Monitoring market conditions, competitive activities, general economic conditions, and governmental, legislative, and regulatory matters to support key business decisions and to determine key technical and business needs. Ensuring a strong pricing strategy in alignment with market conditions, working in partnership with Product Management to execute this pricing strategy. Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business or related field.
  • Preferrably have 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business management working with diverse customer relationships.
  • Foster a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Actively focus on development of your competencies that align with BASF's strategy.

Nice To Haves

  • Have key account management experience (preferred).
  • Posess experience using Salesforce (preferred).
