About The Position

The Regional Information Technology (IT) Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining endpoint devices, ensuring their security, performance, and reliability. This role involves deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting endpoint solutions, as well as implementing policies and procedures to optimize endpoint management. This role supports one or more schools (virtual or hybrid) in one or more geographic regions and serves as the primary contact for technology services being provided to the schools

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Intune, and Entra ID
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 11 OS
  • Understanding and proficiency in computer networking
  • Understanding of and proficiency in computer hardware and software
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
  • Ability to support business productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Intermediate, practical ability to support end user use of business productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).
  • Proficiency in ability to support website navigation
  • Ability to clear background check

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of schools’ network infrastructure, (servers, switches, firewalls, storage, etc.) to ensure devices remain current, supported, and performing to meet the demands of the schools. Includes proactive tracking, planning and purchasing, installing, deploying, updating, repairing, etc.
  • Manage vendor relationships for outsourced systems and services, e.g., security, remote backups, VOIP phone services, internet service providers, etc.
  • Perform software and hardware installation for both onsite employees and remote school staff.
  • Maintain asset control for all school and corporate assets in the field, including managing lifecycle replacements of all IT assets, including certified destruction.
  • Use a centralized inventory management system, responsible for maintaining an up-to-date, auditable inventory of all technology assets for assigned schools.
  • Partner with school management and Stride finance to establish annual budgets and control technology costs.
  • Complete all tickets escalated from the Stride IT Service Desk.
  • Provide 24/7/365 on-call support when warranted.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem analysis for the purpose of diagnosing, repairing and/or replacing equipment.
  • Report and escalate system issues to the Manager, Regional Technology as appropriate.
  • Proactively identify recurring technology issues for further address by management.
  • Travel onsite when required
