About The Position

Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Regional HR Manager – West Region to join their team. This exciting opportunity provides the chance to shape culture, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness across the West region. This exciting opportunity provides visibility with the regional Leadership Team while leading HR processes in a dynamic, fast-paced sales organization. This position role can be located in City of Industry, California; Los Angeles, California; Phoenix, Arizona; or Littleton, Colorado sales office. Travel up to 50% will be required, and a hybrid (3 onsite/2 remote) work model is available. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager, this role will be responsible for all HR-related functions and requirements for the region. The Human Resources Manager will provide HR strategy and support to the West region across various sales verticals and functions. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to expertise in the areas of Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance and Talent Management, and Coaching. The HR Manager will be responsible for coaching and guiding senior sales leaders in the region to influence culture, enhance employee engagement, and improve organizational effectiveness. This role will have visibility and interaction with the Division Leadership Team and is a leader of people.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50%

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master’ degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited institution
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Experience in the sales or manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Be a driving force in ensuring a strong and committed culture of learning, transparency, ethics, passion, accountability, and efficiency.
  • Drive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees. Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g. the employee survey) to determine organizational issues and action plans.
  • Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management and employee development.
  • Manage and develop employee compensation/reward and recognition programs, including benchmarking with Eaton and external marketplace.
  • Support workforce planning through planning headcount, manning levels, and recruitment.
  • Introduce & implement HR policies & procedures, including performance management processes, in accordance with Eaton standards.
  • Provide leadership guidance and mentoring. Develop and implement solutions to organizational challenges by leading/coaching others through change.
  • Promote Safety & Continuous Improvement Culture.
  • Understands and considers all applicable legal implications when making business decisions and protect the organization by ensuring compliance with all labor laws.
