About The Position

Our Indiana public sector client is leading a multi-year, federally funded rural health transformation initiative focused on strengthening healthcare delivery, workforce capacity, and health outcomes across the state. This effort supports system-wide innovation, regional collaboration, infrastructure development, and expanded access to care for underserved and rural communities. This role contributes directly to statewide transformation efforts aimed at improving care coordination, integrating services across the health system, and driving sustainable, equitable health outcomes in underserved regions. Description of Duties: The Regional Grant Coordinator will support coordination and oversight of regionally based grant initiatives designed to strengthen rural healthcare systems and community partnerships. Responsibilities include: Coordinating implementation of federally funded or cooperative agreement–supported initiatives within assigned regions Collaborating with hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), EMS providers, and community-based organizations Supporting engagement with statewide associations and multi-stakeholder coalitions Monitoring regional progress, documentation, and reporting requirements Providing technical assistance and coordination support to regional partners Supporting communication and alignment across diverse healthcare stakeholders Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with CMS-funded programs or federal cooperative agreements Familiarity with rural healthcare systems, including hospitals, FQHCs, EMS providers, and community-based organizations Experience collaborating with statewide associations and multi-stakeholder coalitions Knowledge of rural health delivery, care coordination, or health system transformation Strong organizational and stakeholder coordination skills Working Schedule and Travel: Field / Remote – Must reside within assigned Rural Health Region Travel within assigned region required Region 1: Elkhart, Fulton, Jasper, Marshall, Newton, Pulaski, Starke Region 2: LaGrange, Steuben, DeKalb, Noble, Kosciusko, Cass, Miami, Wabash, Huntington, Whitley, Wells, Adams Region 3: Benton, White, Carroll, Clinton, Warren, Fountain, Montgomery, Boone Region 4: Grant, Blackford, Jay, Tipton, Madison, Randolph, Henry, Wayne, Fayette, Union Region 5: Vermillion, Parke, Putnam, Clay, Owen, Sullivan, Greene Region 6: Shelby, Rush, Decatur, Franklin, Jennings, Ripley, Dearborn, Scott, Jefferson, Switzerland, Ohio Region 7: Brown, Lawrence, Jackson, Orange, Washington, Crawford, Perry, Harrison Region 8: Knox, Daviess, Martin, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick, Spencer Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and extensive experience will be considered.

Requirements
