About The Position

The Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for leading the startup, launch, and ongoing maintenance readiness of PrimeFlight facilities across assigned airport locations. This role ensures all facilities, infrastructure, and building systems are fully operational, compliant, and ready to support airport operations prior to go-live. The Regional Facilities Manager develops and implements maintenance strategies, procedures, and preventive programs while coordinating vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant facilities. This position partners closely with Airport Operations, Safety, Security, IT, and external airport authorities to support new location startups and transitions to steady-state operations, while minimizing disruption to active airport environments. The role also oversees maintenance budgets, inventory, vendor performance, and emergency response planning, while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • 3 years of maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of the Aviation Industry
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
  • This position will require 80% or more travel
  • Be flexible to work various hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end facility maintenance setup for new PrimeFlight airport locations, ensuring all physical infrastructure, systems, and equipment are fully operational prior to go-live.
  • Conduct pre-occupancy and pre-launch inspections to verify readiness of facilities, utilities, mechanical systems, and safety infrastructure.
  • Establish preventive and corrective maintenance programs for newly launched locations, including asset tagging, warranty tracking, and service schedules.
  • Develop site-specific maintenance playbooks and startup checklists to support consistent launches across airports.
  • Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fueling-adjacent infrastructure, doors, docks, and ground-support equipment interfaces (as applicable).
  • Ensure all life-safety systems (fire suppression, alarms, emergency lighting, egress) are installed, tested, documented, and approved prior to operations.
  • Partner with IT, Operations, Safety, and Security teams to align facility readiness with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage local maintenance vendors and emergency service providers at new locations.
  • Negotiate and implement service agreements, SLAs, and response protocols for startup locations.
  • Oversee contractor work during build-out and pre-launch phases to ensure compliance with PrimeFlight standards, airport authority requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Liaise with airport authorities, landlords, and regulatory bodies to obtain required approvals, permits, and inspections related to facilities and maintenance.
  • Ensure startup facilities comply with FAA, airport authority, OSHA, environmental, and local code requirements before operations commence.
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and readiness reviews tied to new location launches.
  • Lead the transition from startup to steady-state operations, ensuring maintenance teams are trained, processes are documented, and vendors are fully engaged.
  • Train local site leaders and maintenance staff on equipment operation, preventive maintenance procedures, and emergency response protocols.
  • Provide post-launch support to stabilize operations, address early-stage issues, and optimize maintenance workflows.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and safety
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance projects and services
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with airport operations and security departments to minimize disruption during maintenance work
  • Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, expenses, and improvement plans
  • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork within the maintenance department
  • Liaise with airport management and stakeholders on facility maintenance matters
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
