About The Position

NORY ( www.nory.co ) is NYC's largest early childhood STEM summer camp, offering engaging, hands-on STEM programs for children aged 3-12. Our curriculum spans a broad range of STEM subjects, from robotics to woodworking, all designed to foster self-driven, purposeful learning. Our ultimate goal is to develop resilience, inquisitiveness, and empathy in every child. We are seeking a Regional Director to lead our expansion into the San Francisco Bay Area . This leadership position is perfect for someone who enjoys entrepreneurship, is energized by building new initiatives, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in launching our STEM programs in the region and establishing NORY’s presence. We are initially focusing on expansion into key areas, specifically San Francisco, and the South Bay (San Jose, Palo Alto, etc.) . Candidates with knowledge of or connections in these communities will be especially valuable to this role. If you are located outside these areas, please be aware that travel within the Bay Area may be required to support the success of this role.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational program management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of business expansion or educational program growth, ideally with successful partnership formation.
  • Demonstrated success in managing teams, fostering collaboration, and achieving operational goals.
  • Familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area educational landscape and the local community.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategies in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for NORY’s expansion into the SF Bay Area, with a focus on launching 2026 summer camps.
  • Forge partnerships with local schools, educational organizations, and community stakeholders to create strong, community-based camp locations.
  • Spearhead marketing and outreach initiatives to increase brand visibility and attract local families to the program.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a local team to ensure the delivery of high-quality STEM experiences.
  • Oversee daily camp operations, including budget management, P&L oversight, and regulatory compliance (permits, licensing, etc.).
  • Work closely with the NYC headquarters to share resources, ensure alignment, and implement best practices.
