Responsibilities The Regional Residential Rehabilitation Manager directs and coordinates activities of personnel in the CNS Residential Rehabilitation Programs in California and Texas to carry out the objectives in the provision of rehabilitative care. Work is full time during weekdays with some evenings and weekends. On-call work is required. Work is performed at the residential programs in California and Texas with some work at the clinic and/or in the community. Is on the premises as necessary to manage and administer the facility in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The residential sites may include apartment complexes with one or two stories, townhouses with one or two stories, and/or homes in the community. Directs and coordinates designated residential operations and programming for CNS programs. If residential site has two stories, requires repeated stair climbing to reach second story apartments accessible only by one flight of stairs. Directs personnel administration and assures that policies and procedures are upheld in a fair and consistent manner. Recommends residential rehabilitation policy changes when needed. Requires ability to effectively communicate content and interpretation of policies to employees, patients, and patients families. Receives authorization from National Director of Residential Rehabilitation Manager prior to implementing any residential policy change or adding new headcount at a location. Oversees therapeutic residential programs. Arranges for special provisions for the care. supervision, safety, and guidance of patients with disabilities including visual or auditory deficiencies. Inspects residential settings and reports any required repairs and cleaning to the Maintenance Department. Requests furnishing and residential inventory purchases. Follows up to ensure changes are completed. Assures that regulatory licensing and accreditation requirements are conducted in a timely manner, such as: fire drills, safety walk-throughs, evaluations, facility maintenance, and vehicle maintenance. Ability to read and comprehend regulations and ability to communicate are required.
