About The Position

The Regional Director of Clinical Operations provides clinical oversight to Continuing Care and Home Care staff supporting key clinical leadership roles to provide individualized clinical care and services to residents residing in Erickson. In this role, the Regional Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for evaluating the clinical practice of the various HS service lines to validate compliance with state/federal regulations, nursing standards of practice and Erickson Senior Living standards/policies. How you will make an impact: Serves as a resource, role model, and mentor for key clinical leaders within the Continuing Care (including but not limited to DON, ADON, Clinical Manager, Wellness Manager, MDS Coordinator, SDC). May serve, as needed, as a resource, role model and mentor to the Clinical Manager and other key clinical positions within Home Health, Home Support to validate integration of care and consistency across the continuum. Assesses and evaluates the effectiveness of processes, systems, and care delivery to residents validate. Quality of Care Standards providing recommendations for improvement as needed. Support and validate implementation of Erickson approved clinical programs, practices and policies for Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Participates in the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of clinical priorities in Continuing Care. Visits Continuing Care neighborhoods in accordance with defined Erickson standards to review and/complete systems reviews of care delivery and clinical systems. Supports and guides key clinical leadership during regulatory surveys, development & review of the Plan of Correction (POC), monitoring implementation of POC and assistance in development of Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) as needed. May participate in designated corporate workgroups and task forces as needed and appropriate for concerns/issues related to Continuing Care and Home Care. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Experience with electronic medical record
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in skilled nursing
  • Must be clinically proficient to evaluate, educate, train and validate quality of care for all service lines of business in Continuing Care.
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care, Memory Care, Assisted living and Home Care preferred.
  • Be able to travel on average 6-8 days per month, or more frequently based on community need.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing preferred
  • Experience in managing multiple facilities preferred
