Position Summary: It is the purpose of the Regional Director of Admissions to provide oversight and direction to Admissions Managers/Leads, Admissions Assistant, Trainees, Admissions Coordinators, and Admissions Administrators- and to interact with clients, families, and referral sources to ensure that they have an exceptional experience. In addition, the Regional Director of Admissions is responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of the Admissions Department. The Director of Admissions acts as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through training Coordinators properly and adhering to company policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3 – 4 years of experience in Behavior Healthcare field preferred
  • 2 -4 years of experience in Admissions with a proven record of exceptional performance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance contracts, benefits and authorization process-including medical necessity criteria for all levels of care
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Kipu
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and direction to Admissions staff in accordance with the department’s and organization’s policies and procedures
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesion
  • Maintain transparent communication.
  • Motivate admissions team to reach or exceed all budgeted census and revenue goals
