About The Position

Covenant Christian High School (Indianapolis) seeks a committed Christian leader to fill a full-time director position, transitioning to take over the role before the beginning the 2026-27 school year. Director of Admissions Role Summary The Director of Admissions leads the strategy and execution of student recruitment and enrollment for Covenant Christian High School, including domestic, international, and online students. This position is responsible for developing a comprehensive admissions plan that attracts mission-aligned students, strengthens relationships with partner schools and agencies, and ensures an exceptional experience for every prospective family. T he Director of Admissions manages the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, oversees communication and marketing collaboration, and guides the Admissions team to meet enrollment goals. This role requires a leader who is both relational and strategic — able to connect with people personally while thinking analytically about trends, pipelines, and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related education leadership roles preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with admissions software and data management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions and recruitment strategy for domestic, international, and online students
  • Lead the Admissions team in meeting annual enrollment goals across all programs and student categories.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, measure conversion rates, and adjust strategies to strengthen outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Advancement to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment in all admissions materials and outreach.
  • Partner with the Finance Office to align financial aid strategies with recruitment priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with local middle schools, churches, and community partners to strengthen Covenant’s recruitment pipeline.
  • Oversee and participate in campus events such as Open Houses, Shadow Days, and Preview Nights to showcase the Covenant experience.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students and parents through phone calls, email, text, and in-person meetings.
  • Guide families through the full admissions process — from inquiry to enrollment — ensuring clarity, care, and follow-through.
  • Build and manage relationships with international recruitment agencies, homestay partners, and host families.
  • Oversee application and visa processing in compliance with SEVIS and international student regulations.
  • Ensure that international students and families receive clear guidance regarding enrollment, housing, and orientation.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure a smooth cultural transition and academic integration for international students.
  • Promote and oversee recruitment for Covenant’s Online Academy , coordinating outreach efforts, advertising, and partnerships with virtual learning networks.
  • Work with academic leadership to communicate program distinctives and ensure that online students receive personalized guidance throughout the enrollment process.
  • Monitor online program enrollment data and adjust recruitment strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Manage the admissions database, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely follow-up on all leads.
  • Supervise the processing of applications, interviews, test scores, and transcripts.
  • Maintain clear communication and coordination between Admissions, Financial Aid, and Academic departments.
  • Train and mentor admissions staff to provide a high-quality, personalized experience for every prospective family.
  • Oversee new parent orientation, support Freshman and Senior Retreats, and contribute to Advancement team initiatives.
  • Manage admissions materials and promotional gear inventory (t-shirts, swag, water bottles, etc.).
