Trane in Tempe, Arizona is hiring a Regional Contracting Operations Leader to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of the contracting fulfillment processes in its goal of operational excellence, support of overall strategic objectives, and accountable for overall project financial results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in facilities or HVAC systems preferred.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and turnkey projects preferred.
  • Travel within the Region required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

  • Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and turnkey projects preferred.
  • Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in facilities or HVAC systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that quality standards are maintained, after an order is closed, for contracting process and functions required for execution and customer satisfaction, including new equipment, existing building services, and building automation.
  • Overall contracting responsibility for the following functions within the categories of new equipment, existing building services, and building automation: order validation, order entry, order follow up, customer inquiry, engineering, submittals, service operations, building automation operations, project management, technical support, warranties, claims, and resource allocations.
  • Develop and work with team leaders/coaches to establish required skill sets, talents, and capabilities.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed.
