About The Position

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen as the Regional Clinical Manager supporting Primary Care and a broad range of Specialty Clinics on our Winona Campus. You’ll lead clinical and operational teams across ~47 staff members and help drive patient access, workflow optimization, and service excellence in a highly collaborative, multi‑clinic environment. This role offers exposure to diverse specialty services, strong leadership partnerships, and the opportunity to shape clinical operations campus‑wide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3–4 years of clinical or equivalent healthcare experience demonstrating leadership.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • 1 year of healthcare management experience; integrated health system experience preferred.
  • A strong relationship-builder who can effectively partner with three campus leaders, navigate conflict, and balance team advocacy with big‑picture system thinking.
  • Experienced in leadership and people management, with the ability to develop staff, foster accountability with empathy, and support a high‑performing clinic culture.
  • Knowledgeable in primary care and/or specialty clinic operations, bringing a solid understanding of ambulatory workflows.
  • Comfortable leading in a dynamic environment, with the judgment to prioritize, problem‑solve, and support daily operational needs.
  • Change-ready and improvement-minded, contributing to process improvement efforts, including quality metrics such as hypertension management, colon cancer screening, and well-child visits.
  • Detail-oriented in operational oversight, including building contracts (e.g., snow removal, communication systems).
  • Excited to support ongoing initiatives, including RN-led hypertension visits designed to increase provider access and support top-of-scope nursing practice

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for Primary Care and Specialty Clinic services.
  • Lead and support a team of ~47 clinical and administrative staff, including RNs, MAs, Patient Liaisons, a Social Worker, a Regional Business Office Coordinator, and a Lead Scheduler.
  • Ensure high-quality, safe, patient‑centered care across all clinical areas.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations, workflows, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Manage budgets and ensure responsible fiscal stewardship.
  • Collaborate with campus leaders, system partners, and rotating specialty providers.
  • Advance organizational initiatives, process improvements, and quality metric performance.
