We anticipate the need for one or more Material Handler(s) to be located at the Winona Service Center in Winona, MN. The starting rate of pay for this position is $28.00 hourly (2025 rate). This position will be posted for 10 working days from February 6, 2026, to February 19, 2026. Job Responsibilities (May include, but not limited to the following): Perform the duties of the Material Handler classification, performing the daily operational activities of the material handling functions at assigned geographic locations. This position requires the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times. Serve as the day-to-day interface with local operational customers. Duties include but not limited to material ordering from Alliance suppliers and from other internal storerooms as necessary. Receiving activities which include unload and loading of trucks and receipt of materials both stock and non-stock. Putaway activities, order filling, physically fill and stage orders for field construction crews. Process material returns/credits from the field. Keep work area and yard cleaned and organized as necessary. Provide excellent customer service for local management and field employees. Participate in all safety and training programs. Qualifications 1. High School Dipoloma or GED. 2. Forklift Certified. 3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 4. Ability to successfully work with internal customers on a wide range of concerns. 5. Must be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude. 6. Commitment to work productively and safely. 7. Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely. 8. Adapt to multiple computer systems and programs. 9. Able to obtain CDL class A within 6 months. 10. Must successfully complete OSHA Crane Certification. Special Requirements 1. May require participation in after-hour emergency call outs. 2. Must live within a 20-mile radius of service center.
