About The Position

The Regional Business Development Manager drives new business acquisition, strategic account expansion, and market engagement in the Gulf Coast region. This role demands a high-impact sales professional skilled in multi-million-dollar capital equipment sales, solution-based consultative selling, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and executive leadership. The successful candidate will lead territory growth planning and execution, develop strategic relationships with decision-makers across target industries, and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting to contract close.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar capital equipment or complex engineered solutions contracts
  • Expertise in consultative/solution selling to technical and executive audiences
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM (pipeline management, lead tracking, forecasting)
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 5–8 years minimum / 8–10 years preferred of business development or strategic account management experience in engineered equipment sales within Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Industrial Manufacturing
  • Able and willing to travel as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in target sectors
  • Expand share of wallet with strategic accounts through cross-selling and solution bundling
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including proposal development, technical coordination, and contract negotiations
  • Partner with engineering and project management teams to deliver precise, competitive proposals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting in Salesforce CRM
  • Represent TTG at industry trade shows, technical conferences, and client events
  • Deliver presentations and thought-leadership content to strengthen market position
  • Monitor industry trends to identify and pursue emerging opportunities
