Nice To Haves

  • 3 plus years’ experience in parts and/or service sales and support, with a comprehensive understanding of a retail dealership including but not limited to ag equipment, turf equipment, motorsports, and or RV industry.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively one-on-one, within a group, and across the organization.
  • Good understanding of financial principles.
  • Ability to develop and motivate others through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and modeling.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing teams and driving operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Parts and Service Managers report to the Regional Aftermarket Manager and will be highly aligned with the Regional Turf/CCE Sales Managers.
  • Monitors the achievement of goals related to KPI’s for parts and service departments and provides coaching to Parts and Service managers.
  • Supports the tracking and follow through of Parts Hold Files for all locations.
  • Reviews financial statements monthly with location parts and service managers.
  • Performs an annual review of parts and service department vehicles, forklifts, and trailers at each location and provides recommendations surrounding needed repairs or replacement.
  • Helps maintain appropriate staffing levels by contributing to the recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes as needed.
  • Helps where appropriate to support in job offers and wage rates prior to communication with prospective employees.
  • Collaborates with location parts and service managers to optimize employee performance through training and coaching activities.
  • Collaborates with store and department managers to assess and manage staffing levels to insure operational efficiency.
  • Evaluates and provides feedback to corporate management related to hours of operation and after-hours support, balancing the need for customer support and employee satisfaction, with particular emphasis on planting and harvest seasons.
  • Monitors and supports monthly location aftermarket department meetings as needed.
  • Collaborates with store Retail Experience Managers and the sales team to resolve elevated customer satisfaction issues as needed.
  • Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and vendor representatives with a constant commitment to collaboration and exemplary customer service.
  • Communicates and enhances understanding of the dealership’s values, principles, vision, and mission statement.
