About The Position

Offit Kurman, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a proactive and highly organized Regional Administrative Manager to oversee administrative operations across four offices (Washington, DC; Columbia; Bethesda; and Frederick). This role combines people management and operational leadership, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality attorney support, and a well-functioning office environment. Regular travel between offices is required and will be reimbursed via mileage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of management experience leading diverse teams
  • Experience in office operations, workflow, and administrative leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and influence stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Law firm experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Team Leadership Manage Legal Administrative Assistants, Document Specialists, Reception, and other support staff
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and corrective actions in partnership with HR and leadership
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop training programs with HR and Knowledge & Innovation
  • Partner with attorneys to assess workflow needs and ensure effective support
  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and productivity
  • Regional Operations Management Oversee office conditions, conference spaces, and overall functionality across all locations
  • Manage office and breakroom supply budgets
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address operational needs
  • Serve as a key resource for attorneys and staff, resolving issues or directing appropriately
  • Provide updates to the Director of Administration on team performance and office operations
  • Support employee engagement initiatives across the region
