About The Position

Revenera helps product executives build better products, accelerate time to value and monetize what matters. Revenera’s leading solutions help software and technology companies drive top line revenue with modern software monetization, understand usage and compliance with software usage analytics, empower the use of open source with software composition analysis and deliver an excellent user experience—for embedded, on premises, cloud, and SaaS products. Location: Ideally Illinois or Boston; but open to anywhere in the Midwest or Northeast region The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for targeting and securing new logos where Revenera has no existing footprint as well as maintaining and nurturing existing customer relationships. Your success will directly impact the company’s growth and revenue objectives. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding an annual quota through execution of prospecting strategies and accurate forecasting. You will achieve revenue goals by partnering with Solution Engineers, Business Development, Channel, Marketing, and other members of the Revenera organization.

Requirements

  • Experience selling software solutions (e.g., software monetization, compliance, licensing, SaaS, security, risk management)
  • Familiarity with defined sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.) for understanding business needs and pain points
  • Proven success in uncovering opportunities with net-new and existing accounts through creative prospecting and hunting activities
  • Full ownership of the end-to-end sales process (this is not an overlay role)
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Consultative sales experience targeting relevant companies to drive efficiencies and revenue growth
  • Highly motivated and professional, with excellent verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Prospect across a broad range of accounts using various lead generation techniques to uncover new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline
  • Establish trust and credibility with prospective clients by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business challenges
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify pain points, challenges, and objectives
  • Articulate Revenera’s solutions to address the unique needs of each potential client, demonstrating a commitment to solving their specific challenges
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within target accounts, leveraging MEDDPICC methodology to navigate and understand account dynamics
  • Collaborate effectively with Pre-Sales to develop and deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value of Revenera’s software solutions
  • Work closely with Channel & Alliance representatives on joint opportunities, aligning efforts for maximum impact
  • Accurately forecast opportunities based on realistic assessments and deliver against that forecast
  • Address customer objections and concerns effectively, providing solutions and building trust
  • Navigate and overcome barriers related to migration, cost, security, and performance to drive successful outcomes
  • Successfully negotiate pricing and contractual agreements that align with the needs of both Revenera and the client
