Region Line Manager
About The Position
EnergyUnited is seeking a Region Line Manager to lead construction, operations, and maintenance activities within one of our service areas. This role ensures safe, reliable electric service to our members while driving operational excellence, employee development, and financial stewardship. The Region Line Manager provides leadership for line crews and regional staff, oversees emergency restoration efforts, manages regional budgets, and ensures compliance with engineering and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational knowledge and a commitment to safety and member service.
Responsibilities
- Direct construction, operation, and maintenance of distribution, transmission, and substation systems.
- Plan and schedule work to ensure efficiency, reliability, and timely service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, RUS requirements, NESC, and Cooperative policies.
- Lead emergency response and after-hours restoration efforts.
- Coordinate activities across Customer Service, Special Projects, Construction, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
- Manage equipment, materials, fleet coordination, and materials processes.
- Partner with Safety and Fleet leadership to maintain safe working conditions and equipment readiness.
- Conduct regular meetings, including weekly safety meetings, and enforce safety policies.
- Supervise employees, including time management, performance evaluations, training, promotions, and corrective action.
- Manage regional budgets and ensure financial accountability.
