UAA Anchorage Campus Facilities Maintenance and Operations Department is hiring a refrigeration technician with a competitive salary and UA employee benefits package. We are seeking to fill one position in our Electrical Shop for a Refrigeration Tech as a CT2 or CT3 based on years of relatable experience. The Facilities Department is entrusted with caring for and safeguarding the physical assets of the campus. In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair work such as preventive maintenance on appliances and cooling equipment in the 50+ buildings on campus. We’ll rely on you to conduct job assessments, create quotes and estimates, and research part replacements. Requirements

  • CT2 – Refrigeration Technician. Ten years of experience with industrial tools and/or hand tools related to the trades. Must have commercial or industrial experience. Must possess a valid EPA Clean Air Act 608 Universal Certification.
  • CT3 – Master Level Refrigeration Technician. 15 years of experience and CT2 qualifications. Must possess a valid EPA Clean Air Act 608 Universal Certification.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria is required.
