About The Position

The Referral Management Specialist position is within MUSC Community Physicians (MCP), an entity of the Medical University of South Carolina that delivers healthcare to patients across the rural health network in South Carolina. This role is specifically located at the Neighbors Pediatric - West Ashley location. The primary function of this specialist is to obtain and process signed physician orders and referrals. This ensures that clinical documentation is accurate for care delivery, as well as for specialty and outpatient ancillary referrals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One year of work experience in either patient services, medical reception, or call/customer service center
