Responsible for performing various administrative, secretarial and clerical duties. Understands and follows the organization’s policies, procedures and standards. Is an independent worker, meeting the day-to-day needs of the clinic. Responsibilities include managing outgoing and incoming referrals, appointment scheduling, patient check-in, answering phones, and chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization. Participates in the department’s performance improvement activities.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • One to three year’s medical office experience preferred.
