About The Position

As the RN Supervisor , you will oversee the daily operations of the Conrad Rural Health Clinic and support its mission of providing accessible, high quality care to the community. You will work closely with leadership on strategic planning, program development, and continuous quality improvement. You will also supervise clinic staff, coordinate workflow, and help ensure outstanding service from the first patient contact to the close of each visit. Your role is essential in creating an efficient, organized, and positive environment for patients, staff, and providers. You will help guide the clinic toward its operational goals while maintaining a culture rooted in compassion, integrity, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Current Montana RN license or compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
  • Current RQI per policy.
  • One year of leadership experience.
  • At least two years of clinical experience.
  • Strong financial awareness and experience with budgeting.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement regulations, government requirements, and HIPAA.
  • Strong initiative, sound judgment, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships and manage complex or sensitive situations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare administration and continuum of care models.
  • High standards of excellence, integrity, and empathy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations including patient services, scheduling, staff support, facilities oversight, compliance, and workflow improvement.
  • Ensure smooth and effective practice operations that support provider productivity and patient access.
  • Respond to staff concerns and assist in resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure optimal patient care from initial contact through the end of services.
  • Work with leadership to respond to patient concerns with transparency and empathy.
  • Foster a culture focused on service recovery, accessibility, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure staff are properly trained and maintain up to date competencies.
  • Develop cross training opportunities to strengthen flexibility and clinic support.
  • Maintain documentation for training, education, and annual skills assessments.
  • Co-lead monthly staff meetings to support communication, teamwork, and problem solving.
  • Participate in budgeting processes and ensure that budget projections are sound and defensible.
  • Monitor budget performance and identify opportunities to meet or exceed goals.
  • Develop action plans to address budget variances as needed.
  • Work closely with leadership to support recruitment, scheduling, compensation, and provider contractual obligations.
  • Ensure business functions, processes, and operations align with Logan Health policies and standards.
  • Review existing workflows and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate in developing operational goals that support the overall organizational mission.
