About The Position

Youth Outreach Services (YOS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and their families through innovative programs and impactful services. We are seeking a reliable Redeploy Driver to provide transportation services for youth participating in our programming. This role ensures timely pick-ups and drop-offs while fostering a positive, respectful, and engaging environment for teens.

Requirements

Must be 25 years or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
At least three years of driving experience.
Valid Illinois driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle with a clean driving record.
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with at-risk youth or those involved in the juvenile justice system preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely transport youth to and from programming, court services, and recreational activities using agency vehicles.
Arrive punctually at pick-up and drop-off locations, adhering to the planned routes.
Ensure vehicles are fueled, clean, and free of safety hazards. Arrange for necessary repairs and log mileage and maintenance records.
Build positive relationships with youth and provide support during group and recreational activities.
Participate in supervision meetings and maintain regular communication with program managers and external partners.
Document mileage and maintain compliance with agency policies, including HIPAA confidentiality standards.
