About The Position

Youth Outreach Services (YOS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and their families through innovative programs and impactful services.

We are seeking a reliable Redeploy Driver to provide transportation services for youth participating in our programming. This role ensures timely pick-ups and drop-offs while fostering a positive, respectful, and engaging environment for teens.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of driving experience.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with at-risk youth or those involved in the juvenile justice system preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport youth to and from programming, court services, and recreational activities using agency vehicles.
• Arrive punctually at pick-up and drop-off locations, adhering to the planned routes.
• Ensure vehicles are fueled, clean, and free of safety hazards. Arrange for necessary repairs and log mileage and maintenance records.
• Build positive relationships with youth and provide support during group and recreational activities.
• Participate in supervision meetings and maintain regular communication with program managers and external partners.
• Document mileage and maintain compliance with agency policies, including HIPAA confidentiality standards.
