Recruiting Specialist
About The Position
IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a highly motivated Recruiting Specialist to join our team. As a Recruiting Specialist at IXL, you will work side by side with recruiters within IXL to understand business needs, and to help execute creative strategies to identify top talent to work toward our mission of improving learning for all students globally. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, a solutions-oriented problem solver who is tuned into details and has top notch communication skills. This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-2 years of relevant recruiting experience
- Experience with screening candidate resumes and assessing skills and qualifications
- Experience in conducting qualifying phone screens
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Greenhouse or other ATS, Google Suite
- Passionate about education and technology
Responsibilities
- Manage the top of funnel candidate activity to include reviewing inbound candidate applications and evaluating qualifications to identify the strongest candidates based on defined criteria
- Conduct initial candidate phone screens to assess candidate skills, experience and culture fit
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and timely communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the hiring process
- Perform full cycle recruiting for select assigned positions as needed
- Maintain a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the outcome
