About The Position

Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Recruiting Specialist to join our growing firm. This role is ideal for a high-energy self-starter who thrives on building connections and creating opportunities. The Recruiting Specialist will be primarily responsible for full-cycle recruiting across all departments and leading our law school recruiting initiatives, including active participation in on-campus events and relationship-building with law schools. We are looking for a true go-getter — someone who proactively builds pipelines, networks strategically, and takes ownership of their searches from sourcing through onboarding. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers, serve as a brand ambassador for the firm, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This is a hybrid role and may be based out of any of our main office locations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, sales, marketing, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resourceful with a proactive mindset.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for law school recruiting events and firm-related networking opportunities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Law school or legal recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake meeting through onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and workforce planning strategies.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions.
  • Post job openings in Paycom and manage active candidate pipelines.
  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, Boolean searches, social media platforms, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews across multiple time zones.
  • Guide hiring managers through structured interview and selection processes.
  • Draft and extend offer letters and manage offer negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data within Paycom.
  • Conduct new hire orientations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and firm policies.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies, including employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience from first contact through orientation.
  • Plan, organize, and attend law school recruiting events including career fairs, on-campus interviews (OCI), networking receptions, and information sessions at community college, universities and law schools.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with law school career services offices, faculty, student organizations, and affinity groups.
  • Develop targeted strategies to attract top law student and post-bar talent.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospective candidates and cultivate long-term pipelines for interns, summer associates, and law clerks.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
