About The Position

DT Professionals is seeking a Recruiting Operations Analyst (Management Analyst I) to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA. This role will support government recruiting initiatives and workforce development efforts. This role plays a critical part in managing recruiting operations, optimizing talent pipelines, and enhancing candidate engagement through events and strategic outreach.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or a related technical field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or HR operations..
  • Experience supporting recruiting events and coordinating logistics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track detailed data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally for recruiting events as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting government, defense, or federal contracting recruiting efforts.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or talent acquisition platforms (e.g., TAP or similar systems).
  • Experience tracking and analyzing recruiting metrics and generating reports.
  • Background in university relations or campus recruiting initiatives.
  • Experience developing recruiting marketing materials or campaigns.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Adobe, TWMS, or similar systems.
  • Experience delivering training to recruiters, hiring managers, or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Government Recruiting Lead in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the Talent Acquisition Portal (TAP).
  • Coordinate and execute recruiting events (virtual and in-person), including logistics, registration, and on-site support.
  • Create and manage event marketing tools such as QR codes and text campaigns to drive candidate engagement.
  • Track candidate activity, recruiter evaluations, and key recruiting metrics; provide regular reporting and insights.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with candidates, including issuing notifications and maintaining engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Monitor completion of recruiter evaluations and after-action reports to maintain compliance and process efficiency.
  • Manage recruiting budgets, including tracking expenses for travel, registration, and labor.
  • Expand and maintain contact lists across targeted universities and institutions to strengthen talent pipelines, particularly for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., universities, workforce organizations) to support recruiting initiatives.
  • Develop and update recruiting materials for internship programs and entry-level hiring efforts.
  • Facilitate recruiter and hiring manager training on recruiting tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Utilize collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) to coordinate across departments and maintain documentation.
