Our dedication to workmanship and customer satisfaction is key to our success. We are looking for a Recruiting Manager to lead our recruiting team across the state of Ohio! The ideal candidate will develop the recruiting strategies and employer brand for the organization in support of staffing objectives. This position will be responsible for creating training and onboarding protocols across the branches, setting our team members up for success. (This candidate will be required to travel weekly.) We believe someone who connects with people and is focused on achieving results will be successful in this role. The ability to understand, quickly react, and motivate others is key.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a recruiting role.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of employment law.
  • Professional demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems, Paycor Recruiting and/or MyStaffing Pro experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Social Media campaign experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively create sourcing strategies for increased applicant flow, implement with recruiting team.
  • Participate and lead all recruiting and account start-up meetings.
  • Ensuring the team is aware of what is to come and a plan of action moving forward.
  • Ensure that group onboarding is completed at the beginning of each account starting, ideally onsite.
  • Actively and regularly audits the employee onboarding process and documentation, including ensuring that all new hires have a correctly completed i9, signed employee handbook, and background check.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and company policies.
  • Communicates with recruiting team and leadership on a regular basis.
  • Ensures the applicant tracking system is up to date with current needs.
  • All job posts are entered and are being consistently updated.
  • Checks to ensure all applicants are being contacted and that applicant tracking system is being used to it’s fullest potential.
  • Create and implement relevant and sustainable KPI’s for the recruiting team.
  • Hold team accountable for not meeting expectations.
  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Manages Indeed account for billing and sourcing purposes.
  • Travel to each branch on a weekly basis.
  • Create and implement an orientation program across all branches ensuring new employees are setup for success in their new role.
  • Build and strengthen the relationships between recruiters and managers facilitating clear and professional communication that is solutions driven.
  • Actively understand the industry we work within to develop strategies that make sense for us as well as has a clear understanding the unique needs of each of our customers/ accounts.
  • Consult with management to identify sourcing needs and qualifications for candidates.
  • Source applicants through various methods including advertising, job sites, career fairs, and online platforms.
  • Create job postings that are articulate, professional and attention-grabbing to attract the right candidates.
  • Review resumes and qualifications to determine suitability of candidates.
  • Pre-screen candidates for hiring managers.
  • Make preliminary decision on whether to move forward with candidates for interviews with hiring managers.
  • Inform candidates about job expectations and company benefits.
  • Align job candidate profiles with staffing objectives.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with hiring managers.
  • Serves as the liaison between the company and the candidates by handling phone calls, questions and other details during the recruiting process.
  • Conduct background checks and pre-employment documentation once candidate has accepted a position including checking references.
  • Provide regular updates to managers about onboarding candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and updated information within the ATS.
  • Keep all candidates in pipeline up to date.
  • Attends HR/ Business Networking events to help foster new business relationships.
