About The Position

BMA is seeking a Recruiting Manager to join our back office team. This position is located in Huntsville, AL. Job Summary BMA is looking for a highly driven and energized Recruiting Manager to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This position will play a significant role in identifying and engaging top talent in a creative way, improving and contributing to our employer brand, and scaling our recruiting practice as we continue to grow.

Requirements

  • 3+ years proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for technical roles
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases
  • Demonstrated ability to have consistent and positive impact and contribution in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques.
  • Interpersonal savvy, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation.
  • Bachelor's in human resource management or other relevant degree
  • There is a Secret security clearance requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage BMA's recruiting practice
  • Manage the Hiring Process (Oversee job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling)
  • Collaborate with hiring managers (Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs.)
  • Supervise and mentor recruiters or talent acquisition specialists.
  • Set performance goals and monitor team metrics.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from sourcing to hire and beyond.
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire)
  • Manage recruitment budgets and negotiate with vendors or agencies
  • Oversee applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
