About The Position

ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY: Central HR consists of multiple areas of expertise including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Classification & Compensation; Employee and Labor Relations; Continuous Process Improvement, HRIS, HR Business Partners and Talent and Learning Management. USF Human Resources is embarking on a multi-year transformation focused on a Human Resources strategy that elevates our people so that the University and culture support a competitive workforce advantage in line with our strategic plan. POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition , the Recruiting HR Partner will serve as an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team by providing full-cycle recruitment service for the University of South Florida's Tampa campus. The Recruiting HR Partner will partner with hiring managers to fill exempt and non-exempt positions. This position will research, develop, and implement effective strategies to develop high quality diverse talent pipelines.

Requirements

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of HR related experience; or Master's degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program.
  • Six years of HR-related experience or a combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree with at least five years of high-volume recruitment/talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Oracle and People Soft.
  • Significant experience using the full recruiting capabilities of LinkedIn and other recruiting tools.
  • Strong ability with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle recruitment for the Tampa campus through the creative and cost-effective sourcing methods to fill exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Proactively partner with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs.
  • Assess position requirements and candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with requirements and provide insightful candidate assessments.
  • Interview applicants to evaluate work history, education, training, and job skills.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external networks to ensure a strong pipeline of diverse candidates.
  • Use innovative sourcing and marketing/branding techniques to engage both active and passive candidates using sourcing tools include but not limited to: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Glassdoor.
  • Attend local job fairs.
  • Track, monitor, and report ongoing recruiting activities through the disciplined use of the Applicant Tracking System to ensure data integrity for metrics/reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
