About The Position

Recruiting Coordinator - Austin, TX Company Overview: Allen Control Systems (ACS) is a cutting-edge defense startup founded by two former Navy electrical engineers with a proven track record in robotics and software. We are developing a small, autonomous gun turret that employs advanced computer vision and control systems to precisely target and neutralize small drones and loitering munitions. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our recruiting team by managing interview logistics , candidate communications, and recruiting operations. This role is critical to delivering a positive candidate experience and ensuring efficient hiring processes across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of experience in recruiting coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and scheduling tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/SharePoint and running reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting technical or high-volume recruiting teams.
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools such as Greenhouse.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in start-up, agency, or high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple time zones with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
  • Manage job postings across internal and external job boards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assist recruiters with offer preparation, background checks, and onboarding coordination.
  • Track recruiting metrics and generate reports as needed (e.g., time-to-fill, interview volume).
  • Support recruiting events, career fairs, and campus recruiting initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies and employment regulations.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
