About The Position

Ciorba Group is seeking a full-time Recruiter . The Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruiting process for both technical and non-technical roles across the firm. This role will work closely with Human Resources, hiring managers and leadership to develop effective sourcing strategies, build long-term talent pipelines, and deliver a positive candidate experience that reflects Ciorba's values and culture. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience; experience recruiting in the civil engineering, AEC, or technical/professional services industry strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing passive candidates for technical roles
  • Familiarity with civil engineering roles, career paths, and terminology is a plus
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and major job boards
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, personable, and candidate-focused approach
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions, including managers, engineers, technicians, and administrative roles
  • Create, post, and maintain job advertisements across recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and industry-specific job boards
  • Proactively source and build pipelines of passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and other sourcing tools
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process, providing timely updates and maintaining a positive candidate experience
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and market conditions
  • Track and maintain accurate recruiting data and candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support offer preparation, background checks, and onboarding coordination
  • Attend career fairs, university recruiting events, and industry networking events as needed
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes and sourcing strategies
