The Recruiter role involves attracting and hiring top talent, partnering with hiring managers for full-cycle recruiting, building candidate pipelines, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience, and strengthening the employer brand through networking and community engagement. The role also includes managing the MacDonald-Miller Summer Internship Program, which is a critical pipeline for future talent and an important part of the long-term hiring strategy. Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using ATS systems and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • A passion for hiring great people and building future talent pipelines.
  • Highly collaborative.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for a variety of skilled trades, technical, and corporate roles.
  • Build pipelines of passive and active candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and networking.
  • Collaborate with leaders on hiring strategy, interview processes, and candidate selection.
  • Deliver a professional and seamless experience from first contact through onboarding.
  • Represent MacDonald-Miller at career fairs, campus events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Own and elevate the Summer Internship Program by leading recruiting, onboarding, intern engagement, mentorship partnerships, and delivering a best-in-class experience that builds our future talent pipeline.
  • Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve hiring results.
